The Briefest Swim Ever
We tried to take him swimming this evening. The ominous, dark-as-night clouds had already rolled in (around 5:30 PM).
Really ugly mix of nimbo-stratus and cumulo-nimbus clouds.
It was ridiculously dark We got in the pool and were there for about 5 minutes when the thunder started and the rain picked up and they closed the pool. *sigh*
Michael fussed a bit getting out. He has started to recognize the walk to the clubhouse, and gets excited since he knows he's going to swim. Then he gets really excited when I carry him into the water.
I think he realized that his pool time was really short, and he wasn't ready to get out. He’s not at the point where he understands "we have to get out because there’s lightning," he probably thinking along the lines of "why's Dad taking me home ALREADY? I just got in!"
