Zoo Trip
We took Michael to the Zoo last Sunday. Finally getting a moment to blog about it now, been busy.
It wasn't too hot ... the sky was overcast, started to drip-drop rain right when we were leaving.
He didn't seem too enthusiastic about going to the zoo, EXCEPT for the pet-the-Stingray exhibit.
They had signs instructing children to be gentle and only use 2 fingers when petting the Stingrays. Of course, being less than a year old, Michael can't read yet (or really follow instructions). Most of the other kids seemed to be at least 4 or 5 years old.
I leaned over the Stingray tank and Michael was all set to grab himself a Stingray, when I had a sudden realization that when he got his hands on one of those unfortunate creatures, he'd probably tear it apart. I figured this would probably be a bad thing, so I didn't let him get his hands on any of them.
He's REALLY strong, and pretty good at grabbing things. He seemed a little bit disappointed, but I figured it would be for the best.
