Black Friday
Well, we had a very nice Black Friday ... we avoided the shops and the malls. I stayed home with Michael for most of the day, took him to the park in the late afternoon / early evening to feed the birds. He's so funny.
I had a few little boxes of cereal we got as samples, and brought them along to feed the birds. Last time we went to the park to feed the birds, Michael insisted on feeding himself. I recall I had brought a bag of goldfish crackers, and he kept putting them in his mouth and refused to give any to the birds.
This time, he actually tossed most of them to the birds (ducks, geese, ibises), before concluding that the cereal was tasty and starting to feed himself.
I figured Michael would enjoy a simple day of reading books and a trip to the park over the pushing and shoving madness that is day-after-Thanksgiving shopping.
