Dexterous Child
Michael's becoming very dexterous. I take him to Barnes & Noble frequently, where they have a "Hands-on Learning" Duplo Block table. He builds all sorts of amazing scupltures out of Duplos, which he calls "Christmas Trees". He's really into Christmas trees.
The outdoor mall close to our home has a 2.5 story Christmas Tree every holiday season. They just took it down. Michael went and saw it every day and would dance when it played music. He waved "bye-bye" to the Christmas Tree when they were taking it down. They were actually in the process of disassembling it today, the tree looked sad without the branches and lights, at this point, it is just a steel skeleton.
Michael just did somersaults this evening in the living room. Mommy says he's done it before, but this is the first time I've ever seen it. It was pretty cool to watch, and amazing to think that not too long ago, he could not sit up by himself without support. Kids grow up so fast!
