2 Song Rotation
Michael has an iPhone. It's my old one.
He loves Cars (the Pixar movie with Lightning McQueen). Last night I went on iTunes store and bought him the 2 most popular songs from the Cars Soundtrack, "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts and "Real Gone" by Sheryl Crow.
I figured it would be cool for him to have the ability to play his own music. He's very adept at navigating the iPhone (and Windows PCs as well).
Last night, I told him he could listen to "Life is a Highway" one more time on the iPhone before bed. He waited until the song was halfway through and surreptitiously slid the timer back to the beginning. I caught him and turned it off.
He has put those 2 songs on a 2 song rotation and has played them day and night. I figured he would get sick of them. Never underestimate the ability of a young child to play a song over (and over and over and over) and not get sick of it.
Wife mentioned during dinner "That song is driving me crazy". I was at work today, so I could only imagine she's heard it probably 40 or 50 times more than me for the day.
