Great Day

Today was a great day.  I had lots and lots of time to spend with Michael.

I really enjoy spending time with my son, and always try to make sure I spend at least an hour with him when I get home from work.  On weekdays after a long day in the office, it's difficult sometimes.
However, weekends are a great opportunity to spend a lot of time together!

Michael's new thing is he likes to try standing.  I stand him up, and put my hands under his armpits (kinda like training wheels), and slowly let him find his own balance, with less guidance from me.  He teeters and totters about, and tries to keep his balance.  I'm not yet able to really, truly let go, he'd probably fall down and start crying, and that wouldn't be good.  However, he does get a kick out of this, and it seems to be getting him in the right direction for standing on his own.

We just got back from a nice evening walk.  He was good the entire time.  My wife's Nokia plays music, so we loaded up a bunch of Korean tunes (my wife's favorite) and put it in the carrying basket underneath him.

He was quiet and seemed content the entire walk.  I think he likes music, and movement.  He's always very well-behaved and content when we go out and he sits in his car seat and listens to music.
